Trouw Nutrition opened a state-of-the-art research facility in the Netherlands to accelerate global innovation in ruminant nutrition. The new facility will add to the five R&D centers to the company and engage in advanced studies. Trouw Nutrition, Hollanda’da gelişmiş bir araştırma tesisi açarak ruminant beslemesinde küresel ye- niliği hızlandırmayı amaçlıyor. Yeni tesis, şirketin beş AR-GE merkezi arasında yer alacak ve ileri dü- zey çalışmalarla ilgilenecek. Trouw Nutrition, the global leader in innovative feed specialties, calf milk replacers, premixes and nutritional services for the animal nutrition industry, has opened its new Calf & Beef Research Facility, close to Boxmeer, in the Netherlands. With state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment, this new facility will engage in advanced studies alongside the group's two existing dairy facili- ties in Boxmeer and Burford, Canada, to accelerate in- novation in ruminant nutrition. Trouw Nutrition R&D Director, Prof Leo den Hartog comments: "A key trend in both dairy and beef pro- duction globally is the desire to gain a greater under- standing of how to maximise the full genetic potential of the animal. Science steers us towards the start of life as the key period at which we can make significant gains in production. Our expanding research capac- ity is recognition of these developments. By 2050 the world population is expected to grow by 30% and the demand for dairy and meat expected to double. Meet- ing this demand will be a challenge for the agricultural industry. This investment therefore plays a vital role in the development of new nutritional solutions that can tap into the recognized need to feed the world in a more efficient and sustainable way. The new facility increases the global innovation capability for Trouw Nutrition, adding to the five R&D centers already in use around the world." İnovatif yem uzmanlık alanlarında, buzağı süt ikame yemi, premiksler ve hayvan besleme endüstrisi için bes- lenme hizmetlerinde küresel lider konumunda olan Trouw Nutrition, Hollanda’da, Boxmeer’e yakın yeni Buzağı ve Sığır Araştırma Tesisini açtı. En gelişmiş altyapı ve ekip- man ile donatılan yeni tesis, ruminant beslenmesinde inovasyonu hızlandırmak için grubun Kanada Boxmeer ve Burford’da bulunan iki mandıra tesisleriyle birlikte ileri düzey çalışmalarla ilgilenecek. Trouw Nutrition AR-GE Direktörü Prof. Leo den Har- tog, konuyla ilgili şu yorumda bulundu: "Küresel süt ve besi hayvancılığı üretiminde anahtar akım, hayvanın bütün genetik potansiyelini en üst düzeye nasıl çıka- cağını anlama tutkusundan geçiyor. Bilim, bizi hayatın başlangıcına doğru yönlendirir çünkü orada önemli üre- tim kazançları sağlayacağımız asıl süreç mevcut. Bizim genişleyen araştırma kapasitemiz bu gelişmelerin ona- yıdır. 2050 yılına kadar dünya nüfusunun %30 artacağı düşünülüyor ve süt ürünleri ve et için olan isteğin ikiye katlanması bekleniyor. Bu ihtiyacı karşılamak tarım en- düstrisi ne büyük bir zorluk yaşatacaktır. Bu yüzden bu yatırım, dünyayı verimli ve etkili bir şekilde besleme ihtiyacından istifade edebilen yeni beslenme çözümle- rinin gelişiminde çok önemli bir rol onar. Yeni tesis Tro- uw Nutrition'ın küresel yenilik kapasitesini arttıracak ve zaten dünya genelinde kullanılan beş AR-GE merkezini tamamlayacak."
