DÜNYA KARMA YEM ÜRETİMİ VE YEM SANAYİ Dünyada üretimi eskilere dayanan karma yemlerin en- düstriyel anlamda ilk üretimi 1800’lerin sonunda ABD’nin Missouri eyaletinde başlamıştır ve aynı işletme halen üre- timine devam etmektedir. Dünyada karma yem sektörüne yönelik ilk düzenlemeler ise 1916 ve 1920 yılları arasında yapılmıştır. Alltech’in 2013 yılı için hazırladığı ve 130 ülkedeki kar- ma yem üretimini değerlendirdiği “Küresel Yem Araştır- maları Özeti”ne göre; yem endüstrisinde 2012 yılında elde edilen 954 milyon tonluk üretim miktarı, yüzde 1’lik artış göstererek 2013 yılında yaklaşık 963 milyon tona ulaş- mıştır. Özete göre; üretim miktarındaki düşük artış, büyük olasılıkla 2012 yılında dünya çapında 30’dan fazla ülkede etkili olan ve yem hammaddesinin fiyatlarını arttıran ku- raklıktan kaynaklanıyordu. Alltech’in hazırladığı “2015 Dünya Yem Araştırması” (2015 Global Feed Survey) ise 2013 yılında 963 milyon ton civarında gerçekleşen küresel yem üretiminin, Aralık 2014’te 980 milyon tona ulaştığını göstermektedir. 2014 yılı verilerinden elde edilen bulgular, yem sanayinde yüzde 2’lik bir artış olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma, 2014 yılı boyunca yem endüstrisinin genel eğilimlerinin, ham besleme malzemelerinin yüksek mali- yetleri, ithalat/ihracat standartları üzerindeki yönetim dal- galanmaları, birçok çiftçi için felaket olduğu kanıtlanan kuş gribi ve domuzlardaki PED virüsü gibi hayvan hasta- production to reach higher levels. WORLD COMPOUND FEED PRODUCTION AND FEED INDUSTRY Compound feed production date back to old times. However, the first industrial production of compound feed started at the end of the 1800s in Missouri, the USA and the same facility still continues to production. The first arrangements for compound feed sector in the world were made between the years 1916 and 1920. According to “Global Feed Research Summary” pre- pared by Alltech for 2013 and in which compound feed production in 130 countries is evaluated, feed production amount in 2012 which was 954 million tons increased by 1 percent and reached to 963 million tons in 2013. As to the summary, low increase amount in production was quite likely due to the drought which affected more than 30 countries in 2012 and increased raw material prices. “2015 Global Feed Research” prepared by Alltech shows that global feed production, which was around 963 million tons in 2013 reached to 980 million tons in December 2014. Findings inferred from the data of the year 2014 reveal that there is an increase of 2 percent in the feed industry. It is stated in the survey that the feed industry over- all trends throughout 2014 were impacted by myriad events, including high costs of raw feed materials, fluc- tuation of governance over import/export standards, ani- mal diseases such as avian influenza and the PED virus in pigs, which proved to be disastrous for many farmers, and widespread droughts. The last annual report of Alltech has been published Alltech 2016 araştırmasına göre dünyadaki en büyük 10 yem şirketinden ilki olan Amerika merkezli Cargill’in yıllık yem üretimi 19,5 milyon ton civarındadır. Bu şirketi 15,7 milyon tonluk üretimle Çin merkezli New Hope Group takip ediyor. Dünyanın önde gelen yem tedarikçilerinden ABD merkezli Purina Animal Nutrition, 12,7 milyon tonla üçüncü sırada yer alırken, bu firmayı yine Çin merkezli CPP China 12,4 milyon tonla takip etmektedir. İlk 10’daki diğer firmalar ve üretim miktarları ise şöy- le; Wen’s Food Group (Çin) 12 milyon ton, BRF (Brezilya) 10,3 milyon ton, Tyson Foods (ABD) 10 milyon ton, East Hope Group (Çin) 7,6 milyon ton, JA Zen-Noh (Japon) 7,2 milyon ton, Shaungbaotai Group (Twins Group – Çin) 6,6 milyon ton. According to 2016 research of Alltech, the production of the USA-based Cargill, the first of the top 10 feed compa- nies in the world, is about 19.5 million tons. It is followed by China-based New Hope Group with 15.7 million tons of production. One of the leading feed suppliers of the world, USA-based Purina Animal Nutrition has the third place with 12,7 million tons, and China-based CPP China follows this company with 12,4 million tons. The other companies in the top 10 and their production amounts are as follows: Wen’s Food Group (China) 12 million tons, BRF (Brazil) 10,3 million tons, Tyson Foods (USA) 10 million tons, East Hope Group (China) 7,6 million tons, JA Zen-Noh (Japan) 7,2 million tons, Shaungbaotai Group (Twins Group - China) 6,6 million tons.
