The regulation amending the regulation on the procedures and principles to be applied in the procurement of agricultural prod- ucts and related service procurements to be made by the Gen- eral Directorate of Turkish Grain Board (TMO) within the scope of the public procurement law, has been published in the Turk- ish Official Gazette. According to the regulation, TMO will be able to make pur- chases through direct importation from state institutions, and or- ganizations with partnerships of foreign states with the approval of the relevant minister and the assignment of the board of direc- tors, upon the decision of the President. Also, with the Communi- qué, foreign currency in the foreign currency offered in the ten- der was added to the values that TMO will accept as collateral. Tebliğde yapılan düzenlemeye göre, Cumhurbaşkanı kara- rı ile görev verilmesi üzerine ilgili bakanın onayı ve yönetim kurulunun görevlendirmesiyle TMO, yabancı devletlerin kendi mevzuatına göre devlet kurumu veya kuruluşu sayılanlardan, yabancı devletin ortaklığı bulunan kuruluşlardan protokol ile doğrudan ithalat yoluyla alım yapabilecek.
