We are actively involved in monitoring emerging trends and advancements in the grain storage industry. Some no- table areas of focus include digitalization and automation of grain storage processes, precision monitoring and control systems using IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, and the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning for predictive analytics. We also keep a close eye on sustain- able storage solutions, such as energy-efficient drying tech- niques and environmentally friendly pest control methods. By staying at the forefront of these trends, we aim to con- tinually innovate and provide innovative grain storage solu- tions to meet the evolving needs of the industry. This opens a world of possibilities for new product and service offer- ings that address farming challenges well into the future. Can you share the latest notable success stories where Cimbria’s expertise in grain storage has made a significant impact? We do our best every day to make a significant contribution in all our ar- eas. In the area of grain storage, there have been a few notable success sto- ries in the recent past. We increased our presence in Egypt with an order placed for a huge silo complex in Port Said, the Egyptian city at the entrance to the Suez Canal. As Egypt’s popu- lation increases by 2.5 percent every year, there is a great need for safe storage complexes in the country: the huge new silo complex consists of eight silo bins with a capacity of 12,500 tons each and will be used for the safe storage of wheat. The 100,000-ton silo complex for Port Said will make an important contribution to safe food storage in Egypt. We are very proud of this project that will support a safe and sufficient food supply for Egypt’s growing population. Furthermore, the port operator UMEX recently started operating its strategic Cimbria-designed fertilizer terminals at Romania’s Port of Constanta, one of the most important and traffic-heavy transshipment hubs for the greater Black Sea region. In the same port, it is worth to mention also the grain terminal that is currently under construction, which comprises two symmetrical facilities with 100,000 tons of storage capacity across eight separate silos. The terminal is designed entirely by Cimbria and equipped with an ex- tensive range of grain processing technology to improve the port’s grain handling and storage capabilities to man- age future growth. Süveyş Kanalı’nın girişindeki Mısır şehri Port Said’de büyük bir silo kompleksi için verilen siparişle Mısır’daki varlığı- mızı arttırdık. Mısır’ın nüfusu her yıl yüzde 2,5 oranında arttığı için ülkede güvenli depolama komplekslerine büyük ihtiyaç duyuluyor: her biri 12 bin 500 ton ka- pasiteli sekiz silodan oluşan devasa yeni silo kompleksi, buğdayın güvenli bir şekilde depolanması için kullanıla- cak. Port Said için inşa edilen 100 bin tonluk silo kompleksi Mısır’da gıdanın güvenli bir şekilde depolanmasına önemli bir katkı sağlayacak. Mısır’ın artan nüfusu için güvenli ve yeterli gıda tedarikini destekleyecek bu proje ile gurur du- yuyoruz. Ayrıca, liman işletmecisi UMEX kısa bir süre önce, Karade- niz bölgesinin en önemli ve yoğun aktarma merkezlerinden biri olan Romanya’nın Köstence Limanı’nda Cimbria tarafın- dan tasarlanan stratejik gübre terminallerini işletmeye baş- ladı. Aynı limanda, sekiz ayrı siloda 100 bin ton depolama kapasitesine sahip iki simetrik tesisten oluşan ve şu anda yapım aşamasında olan tahıl terminalinden de bahsetmek gerek. Tamamen Cimbria tarafından tasarlanmış olan termi- nal, limanın tahıl taşıma ve depolama kapasitesini arttırmak ve gelecekteki büyümeyi yönetmek amacıyla geniş bir tahıl işleme teknolojisi serisiyle donatılmıştır.
