Sosyal ha- yatın izole olması üretim zincirinde olumsuzlukların yaşan- masına da neden oldu. Buna bağlı olarak pek çok ülkede olduğu gibi ülkemizde de üretim zincirinin devamlılığını ko- ruma hususunda sıkıntılar yaşandı. Bununla birlikte, sosyal izolasyona bağlı olarak birçok sektör etkilendi ve ilk etkile- nen sektörlerden biri de tarım sektörü oldu. İnsanların pa- halı eşyalardan çok temel ihtiyaçlarını karşılamaya yönelik bir çaba içine girdi. Zira insanın yaşamını sürdürmesi, ba- ğışıklık sistemini güçlendirebilmesi ve sağlıklı kalabilmesi için beslenmesinin hayati önemi var. Salgın döneminde en önemli sorunun, sağlıklı ve yeterli gıdanın insanlara ulaş- tırılabilmesi olduğu görüldü. Yerli üretimin önemi ortaya çıktı ve bununla birlikte küçük üretici ve aile çiftçisinin önemi ortaya çıktı. İş’in Guru’su’nu özellikle mutlu eden ya da geleceğe yönelik planlanan ortaklıklar ya da işbirlikleri var mı? Elbette var. Referanslarımız bizim için çok değerli. Throughout the pandemic and with the measures taken, inc- luding curfews, society was dragged into an isolated life. The isolation of social life also caused negativities in the production chain. Accordingly, as in many countries, there were problems in maintaining the continuity of the production chain in Turkey. However, the agricultural sector was one of the first sectors to be affected. People made an effort to meet their basic needs rather than indulging in expensive goods. Because nutrition is vital for people to survive, strengthen their immune system, and stay healthy. During the pandemic, it was seen that the most important problem was delivering healthy and sufficient food to people. The importance of do- mestic production emerged, and with it, the significance of small producers and family farmers be- came apparent. Are there any partnerships or collaborations that especially bring joy to İş’in Guru’su or are being planned for the future? Certainly, there are. Our refe- rences hold great value for us. This provides us with the oppor- tunity to reach a diverse range of producers and establish part- nerships as solution providers. Where do you envision İş’in Guru’su in the next 5-10 years? How would you like to articula- te the roadmap ahead? Being a part of the production and consumption stages in our current industry, and steering it by providing technical contributions, is crucial. This enables us to closely monitor the demands and needs of every segment. We aim to sustain this collaboration both locally and globally. What advice would you offer to young professionals or start-ups aspiring to make a mark in the agriculture and li- vestock sector? They can engage in investments under the umbrella of grant and support programs offered by government institutions. It is crucial for them to prioritize decision-making and subsequently share their goals with us. Finally, what messages would you like to share with the readers of Feed Planet?
