One of Turkey’s most significant agricultural and trade events, the Licensed Warehousing Congress, will bring together leading figures and experts in the sector. Tak- ing place in an environment where approximately 14 million tons of licensed storage is expected to receive licensing, the event holds substantial importance. Licensed warehousing and grain sector to con- vene at LİDAŞ Congress Lisanslı Depo ve Hububat Sektörü LİDAŞ Kongresi’nde buluşuyor With the support of the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Tur- key (TOBB), TÜRİB, and TAKASBANK, the congress titled “Licensed Warehousing and Grain Markets in Turkey and the World” will be held in Antalya from January 16-19, 2025, featuring prominent industry leaders. Serdar Genç, Chairman of the Licensed Warehouse Companies Association (LİDAŞDER), highlighted that the congress aims to introduce the rapidly growing licensed warehousing system in Turkey to broader audiences while uniting industry leaders and experts in a sector poised for further growth in the coming years. The congress is expected to begin with protocol speec- hes from Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yu- maklı, Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Turkish Grain Board Director General Ahmet Güldal, and TOBB President Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu. With nearly 1,000 participants anticipa- ted and domestic and international panelists scheduled to attend, a key highlight will be the evaluation of the grain markets by Haluk Tezcan, Chairman of the Turkish Flour In- dustrialists’ Federation (TFIF), as the flour sector navigates a challenging period. Ticaret Bakanlığı, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı, Toprak Mah- sulleri Ofisi, Türkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği, TÜRİB ve TA- KASBANK gibi kurum ve kuruluşların desteğiyle 16-19 Ocak 2025 tarihinde Antalya’da gerçekleşecek “Türkiye ve Dün- yada Lisanslı Depoculuk, Hububat Piyasaları” konulu kong- re sektörün duayen isimleri katılacak. Önümüzdeki yıllarda sektörde daha fazla büyüme potansiyeli olan Lisanslı Depo Şirketleri Derneği (LİDAŞDER) Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Serdar Genç, sektör liderlerini ve konunun uzmanlarını bir araya getirecek olan Kongreyle hububat sektörü için büyük önem taşıyan ve Türkiye’de hızla gelişen lisanslı depoculuk sis- temini daha geniş kitlelere ulaştırmayı hedeflediklerini söyledi. Tarım ve Orman Bakanı İbrahim Yumaklı ve Ticaret Baka- nı Prof Dr. Ömer Bolat’ın da katılması beklenen Kongre’de Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi Genel Müdürü Ahmet Güldal, Türki- ye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği Başkanı Rıfat Hisarcıkloğlu’nun protokol konuşmalarıyla başlayacak. Yurtiçi ve yurtdışından panelistlerin yer alacağı ve 1.000’e yakın katılımcının beklen- diği Konrede, son dönemde sıkıntılı bir süreç yaşayan un sek- törünün çatı kuruluşu, Türkiye Un Sanayicileri Federasyonu (TUSAF) Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Haluk Tezcan’ın, un sektö- rünün hububat piyasalarına bakışı ve beklentileri konusunda değerlendirmeleri sektör için büyük bir önem arz ediyor.
