As MEKO A.Ş., with our 41 years of experience, we provide services to 17 different sectors, including flour, feed, pasta, defense industry, and livestock automation. With the expe- rience we have gained during this period, we help busines- ses manage their production processes more effectively and progress safely on their digital transformation journeys. As the sales team, our goal is not only to sell process automati- on systems for our customers, but also to always be by their side and offer solutions specific to their needs. WHAT IS PROCESS AUTOMATION AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Process automation is a set of technologies that monitor the stages of a production process with sensors, control systems and software, optimizing these processes without the need for human intervention. By continuously monitoring critical parame- ters in the production process, product quality is maintained, energy consumption is optimized, and waste is minimized. Especially in the flour and feed sectors, mixing raw materi- als with different nutritional values and different qualities in the most appropriate proportions using process automation helps to obtain the desired quality final product at the most affordab- le cost. Similarly, in areas requiring high precision such as the defense industry, this technology offers reliable results by mi- nimizing error tolerance. In addition, smart ventilation, feeding and health checks in livestock automation increase animal wel- fare and make production processes more efficient. In my own career, as a sales engineer, I focus on unders- tanding customer needs and providing them with the most suitable automation solutions.
