In addition, producers using locally certified seeds will re- ceive an “production development support.” Considering all these supports, including solid organic fertilizer support, producers will receive a total of 11,968 TL per ton. TMO pay- ments will be made to producers’ bank accounts within 30 days following delivery of the products. FEED INDUSTRY FORECASTS PRODUCTION AT 7 MILLION TONS Turkey’s Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) had initially pro- jected 2025 corn production at 8.5 million tons, a 4.9% inc- rease compared to last year. However, drought and water shortages are expected to reduce output. Ülkü Karakuş, President of the Turkish Feed Manufacturers Association (TÜRKİYEM-BİR), stated at the end of July that this year’s production is estimated at around 7 million tons. To meet the approximately 12 million tons of domestic consumption, imports from Ukraine and Russia are required. YEM SANAYİSİNİN ÜRETİM TAHMİNİ 7 MİLYON TON Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) 2025 yılı ilk bitkisel üre- tim tahminlerinde dane mısır üretim beklentisini geçen yıla kıyasla yüzde 4,9 artışla 8,5 milyon ton olarak açıklamıştı. Ancak ku- raklık ve su sıkıntısı nedeniyle üretimde düşüş öngörülüyor.
