Türkiye ranks among leading countries in broiler produc- tion in Europe, while in egg production it maintains particu- larly strong capacity for both domestic consumption and exports. REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION ANALYSIS Regional data reveals that poultry farming doesn’t show balanced distribution across Türkiye, but rather concen- trates in certain regions. In broiler production, The Marmara Region holds a clear leadership position in broiler production. The Aegean and Black Sea Regions also have high production capacity. In egg-laying hen production, the Aegean Region takes the lead, followed by Central Anatolia and Marmara Regions. LEADING PROVINCES In broiler and egg-laying hen farming, certain provinces stand out both in terms of farm numbers and livestock population. BÖLGESEL DAĞILIM ANALİZİ Bölgesel veriler, tavukçuluğun Türkiye genelinde dengeli bir dağılım göstermediğini, belirli bölgelerde yoğunlaştığını ortaya koymaktadır. Et tavuğu üretiminde Marmara Bölgesi açık ara lider ko- numdadır. Ege ve Karadeniz Bölgeleri de yüksek üretim ka- pasitesine sahiptir. Yumurta tavuğu üretiminde ise Ege Bölgesi başı çekmek- te, onu İç Anadolu ve Marmara Bölgeleri izlemektedir. İL BAZINDA LİDERLER Et ve yumurta tavuğu yetiştiriciliğinde bazı iller, hem kü- mes sayısı hem de hayvan varlığı bakımından öne çıkmak- tadır. The future of the sector will be determined by feed cost management, increased biosecurity measures, and diversification of export markets. Additionally, the development of regional planning and logistics networks will further enhance production efficiency. Türkiye’de et tavuğu üretiminde Marmara ve Ege, yu- murta tavuğu üretiminde ise Ege ve İç Anadolu’nun li- derliği dikkat çekmektedir. Sektörün geleceğinde; yem maliyetlerinin yönetimi, biyogüvenlik önlemlerinin artırıl- ması ve ihracat pazarlarının çeşitlendirilmesi belirleyici olacaktır. Ayrıca, bölgesel planlama ve lojistik ağlarının geliştirilmesi, üretim verimliliğini daha da artıracaktır. INTRODUCTION The poultry sector holds a strategic position in Türki- ye’s agricultural production and livestock activities. Both broiler and egg production hold significant economic value for the country’s food security, export potential, and employment. In recent years, the spread of modern poultry house technologies, genetic breeding studies, and advancements in feed technologies have increased production capacity in the sector. This article examines in detail the general outlook of broiler and egg-laying hen farming in Türkiye, regional con- centration areas, and leading provinces . Son yıllarda modern kümes teknolojilerinin yaygınlaşması, genetik ıslah çalışmaları ve yem teknolojile- rindeki gelişmeler, sektördeki üretim kapasitesini artırmıştır. Bu makalede, Türkiye’de et tavuğu ve yumurta tavuğu yetiştiriciliğinin genel görünümü, bölgesel yoğunlaşma alanları ve önde gelen illeri detaylı olarak incelenmektedir.
