The machines modernizing production lines are no longer just steel and motors. They now sit at the center of integrated production ecosystems shaped by precision dosing, digital intelligence and energy efficiency. One of the best ways to understand this shift is to meet the technology giants driving it, right where the heartbeat of the sector can be felt. That is, major international exhibitions. That’s why our four interviews with leading feed machin- ery manufacturers were not conducted behind desks, but at the very heart of the sector. At the second edition of the IDMA Russia milling exhibition in Moscow and at the SPACE livestock fair in France. Because the real conversations that shape technology don’t happen in meeting rooms but they happen in the aisles of trade fairs, in the shadow of working machines. These companies are not just developing products. They are defining the future model of feed production. Precision, energy consciousness, automation and sustainability are no longer “nice to have” extras but they have become the very foundation of modern production. At Feed Planet, we con- sider it a responsibility to observe, listen to and report on this transformation where it happens because the industry is no longer just about production. It is also about building systems powered by intelligence. International exhibitions play a critical role in this process. They are where new technologies first meet the field and where ideas turn into reality. It is on these global stages that the trends shaping tomorrow’s competition emerge. This is why we chose to build our cover story around develop- ments unfolding on the ground. Feed production technol- ogy is no longer just something displayed behind glass. It is the embodiment of a future vision. Yem endüstrisi tarih boyunca teknolojiye dayandı ama bugün yaşanan dönüşüm, geçmiştekilerden çok daha köklü. Üretim hatlarını modernize eden makineler artık sadece çelik ve motorlardan ibaret değil; hassas ölçüm, dijital zekâ ve enerji verimliliğiyle şekillenen entegre üretim ekosistemlerinin kalbine yerleşmiş durumda. Bu dönüşümü anlamanın en iyi yollarından biri, sektörün nabzının attığı fuarlarda, bu değişimi bizzat şekillendiren teknoloji devlerini dinlemekten geçiyor. Bu nedenle dört büyük yem makinesi üreticisiyle röportajlarımızı da masa başında değil, bu yıl Moskova’da ikincisi düzenlenen değirmencilik fuarı İDMA Russia ve Fransa’nın hayvancılık fuarı SPACE olmak üzere sektörün kalbinin attığı yerlerde yaptık. Çünkü teknolojiyi şekillendiren gerçek diyaloglar, fuar koridorlarında, çalışan makinelerin gölgesinde yaşanır. Bu devler, sadece ürün geliştirmiyor; geleceğin yem üretim modelini de tanımlıyor. Hassasiyet, enerji bilinci, otomasyon ve sürdürülebilirlik, artık “ekstra” değil “temel” haline gelmiş durumda. Biz de Feed Planet olarak bu dönüşümü yerinde gözlemlemeyi, dinlemeyi ve aktarmayı sorumluluk sayıyoruz. Çünkü sektör, artık yalnızca üretim değil; zekâyla işleyen bir sistem inşa ediyor. Fuarların bu süreçteki rolü ise kritik. Yeni teknolojilerin sahaya ilk indiği, fikirlerin gerçeğe dönüştüğü yerler tam da bu uluslararası buluşma noktaları. Küresel rekabetin geleceğini belirleyecek eğilimler genellikle bu platformlarda ortaya çıkıyor. Bu sebeple, kapak konumuzu da sahada yaşanan gelişmelerin üzerine kurmayı tercih ettik. Zira yem üretim teknolojileri artık bir fuar vitrini değil, bir gelecek vizyonu meselesi.
