Pursuant to the Regulation on the Procedures Regarding Contractual Production in Poultry Production, published in the Official Gazette on October 27, the parties will be able to impose special provisions, provided that they do not contradict with other relevant legislation. The contracts made before the date of publication of the Regulation will remain valid. Prof. Dr. Semih Ergin, the Dean of Faculty of Aquat- ics of Izmir Katip Çelebi University (İKÇU) and Dilruba Seyhan Öztürk, Research Assistant, have discovered the 'nano fish', the smallest fish and the smallest vertebrate species of the Mediterranean Sea and the Continental Europe. Following the discovery, the fish is named Po- matoschistus Nanus. The fish that is classified under the group of rockfish serve as a feed for other fish. The fish with an average size of 1.5 cm is important for ecological balance completing an important link in the food chain. Pomatoschistus Nanus, discovered in 2016, was intro- duced to the world in an important scientific journal pub- lished in Europe in September. Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığı, kanatlı hayvan eti üretiminde entegre firma ile üretici/üretici örgütü arasındaki sözleşmeli üretimin belirli usul ve esaslar çerçevesinde dü- zenlenerek, üretimde sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanması, stan- dartlara uygun ürün elde edilmesi ve plânlı üretim yapıl- masına yönelik firma ile üreticinin uyması gereken kuralları belirledi. 27 Ekim’de Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan Kanatlı Hayvan Eti Üretiminde Sözleşmeli Üretime İlişkin Usul ve Esaslar Hakkında Yönetmelike göre taraflar, akdettikle- ri sözleşmeye ürünle ilgili diğer mevzuata aykırı olmamak şartıyla özel hükümler koyabilecekler. Yönetmeliğin yayım- landığı tarihten önce yapılan sözleşmeler ise sözleşme sü- relerinin bitimine kadar geçerli sayılacak. İzmir Katip Çelebi Üniversitesi (İKÇÜ) Su Ürünleri Fakül- tesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Semih Ergin ve Araştırma Görevlisi Dilruba Seyhan Öztürk, Akdeniz ve Avrupa kıtasının en küçük balığı ve en küçük omurgalı canlısı olan 'nano ba- lığın' keşfini gerçekleştirdi. Ülkemize gurur yaşatan keşfin ardından bulunan balığın adı Pomatoschistus Nanus ola- rak belirlendi. Kaya balıkları grubuna giren balığın doğa- daki rolü diğer balıkların yem balığı olmak. Ortalama 1,5 cm’lik boyuyla balık besin zincirinde önemli bir bağı ta- mamlayarak ekolojik dengenin sağlanmasında önem arz ediyor. 2016 yılında keşfedilen Pomatoschistus Nanus, eylül ayında da Avrupa'da yayın yapan önemli bir bilim dergisinde yayınlanarak dünyaya tanıtıldı.
