Trabzon Su Ürünleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü (SUMAE), Birleşmiş Milletler Gıda ve Tarım Örgütü (FAO), Akdeniz Genel Balıkçılık Komisyonu'nun (GFCM) Akuakültür Demonstrasyon Merkezi oldu. With the support of FAO GFCM, closed circuit aquaculture system (ADC-RAS) with the latest technology has been es- tablished in the Fisheries Central Research Institute. Within the scope of this system, breeding of various fish species, espe- cially the Black Sea Trout, is carried out in a perfect way. The FAO, GFCM, Aquaculture Demonstration Center (ADC), established within the body of Trabzon Fisheries Central Re- search Institute-SUMAE, continues its applied training. The modern closed-circuit aquaculture system (ADC-RAS) that has been established with the support of FAO-GFCM has come on stream and training named "Trout Farming in Closed Circuit System" has been provided to a total of 15 participants from Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and Tur- key was given between 16th and 21st of July. Throughout the training, theoretical presentations and practical applica- tions on trout farming in closed circuit systems were realized. Thanks to the event, Turkey's know-how and experience on aquaculture was shared with neighboring countries of the Black Sea. Additionally, in this center, a series of studies have been carried out on the production of turbot and a series of training (on fish diseases, etc.) will be organized in the coming period for the experts from Arab countries and experts from the countries bordering the Black Sea. FAO GFCM destekleri ile Su Ürünleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü bünyesinde son teknoloji ile kapalı devre yetişti- ricilik sistemi (ADC-RAS) kuruldu. Bu sistemde Karadeniz Alabalığı başta olmak üzere çeşitli balık türlerinin yetiştiricili- ği örnek bir şekilde yapılmaktadır. Trabzon Su Ürünleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü-SUMAE bünyesinde oluşturulan FAO, GFCM, Akuakültür Demost- rasyon Merkezi (ADC) eğitimlere uygulamalı devam ediyor. FAO-GFCM destekleri ile kurulan modern kapalı dev- re yetiştiricilik sistemi (ADC-RAS) hizmete başlamış olup, Bulgaristan, Gürcistan, Romanya, Rusya, Ukrayna ve Türkiye'den toplam 15 katılımcıya 16-21 Temmuz 2019 tarihleri arasında "Kapalı Devre Sistemlerde Alabalık Yetiş- tiriciliği" isimli eğitim verildi. Eğitim boyunca Kapalı devre sistemlerde alabalık yetiştiriciliği üzerine teorik sunumlar ve pratik uygulamalar gerçekleştirildi. Etkinlik sayesinde Ülke- mizin akuakültür konusundaki bilgi ve tecrübesi Karadeniz'e komşu ülkeleriyle paylaşılmış oldu. Ayrıca bu merkezde Kal- kan Balığı yavru üretimi konusunda bir dizi çalışma yürütül- müş olup önümüzdeki dönemde Arap Birliği üyesi ülkeler- den gelen uzmanlara ve Karadeniz'e kıyısı olan ülkelerden gelen uzmanlar için eğitimler (balık hastalıkları vb. konular- da) düzenlenecektir.
