The feeds can be filled and discharged into the silo by mechanical or pneumatic systems depending on user preferences. In order for easy discharge of the feed in- side the silo and for better feed fluidity, the bottom of the silo is conically designed. To prevent product accumula- tions on the conical base, the connection bolts used in conical base connections are preferred as conical heads. Feed silos, which are also integrated with feed transport systems, allow the feed to be transported automatically from the silo to the place where it is consumed. Storage and transport systems that are needed from transporting feeds to facility to feeding process can be designed in the farms depending on the needs. Konik tabanda oluşabile- cek ürün birikmelerini engellemek adına ise konik taban birleşimlerinde kullanılan bağlantı cıvataları konik başlı olarak tercih edilir. Yem nakil sistemleriyle de entegre olan yem siloları; yemler bittikçe otomatik olarak silodan tüketileceği yere kadar kolayca taşınabilmesine olanak sağlar. Çiftliklerde, yemlerin tesis alanına gelmesinden hayvanların yemlenme süreçlerine kadar olan depolama ve nakil sistemleri ihtiyaçlara göre projelendirilebilmek- tedir.
