On the other hand, the competi- tion among companies and the low price demand of the consumer always make it obligatory to follow the latest technologies closely. Dünyada ve ülkemizde nüfusun hızla artması, ayrıca tüketim alışkanlıklarının hayvansal proteinlere ağırlık kazandıracak şekilde değişmesi hayvan yemi üretiminin de günden güne önem kazanmasını beraberinde getiriyor. Diğer yandan firmalar arasındaki rekabet ile tüketicinin düşük fiyat talebi her za- man en son teknolojileri yakın takip etmeyi zorunlu kılıyor. YEM TEKNOLOJİLERİ With the development of the middle class and the increase in health aware- ness, the change in consumption habits and the rapid growth of the world popula- tion are accepted by the business world as the precursors that we will need more ani- mal protein in the near future. For example, it seems impossible to meet the demand that will occur 30 years later with the cur- rent production potential. This inference concerns farmers, feed manufacturers and feed technology companies equally. This information that we obtained by using sta- tistics and efficiency which is increasing with the development of technology are being mobilized to close the expected ex- cess demand. The cover story of our May-June issue is formed with the precious contributions of the leading companies of the world. Yemmak, leading machinery manufacturer of Turkey, took its place this study with an article questioning whether the feed sector is prepared for Coronavirus and similar cri- ses. Dutch technology company Dinnissen Process Technology, on the other hand, discussed the specifics of the vacuum coating 'revolution' in feed production. In this study, Bühler, another important com- pany having a hand in the cover story, pre- sented brief information about the flaking process. Orta sınıfın gelişimi ve sağlık bilinci- nin artmasıyla beraber tüketim alışkan- lıklarında yaşanan değişim ve dünya nüfusunun hızlı bir şekilde artıyor oluşu iş dünyası tarafından yakın gelecekte daha fazla hayvansal proteine ihtiyaç duyacağımızın habercisi olarak kabul ediliyor. Örneğin 30 sene sonra oluşa- cak talebi mevcut üretim potansiyeliyle karşılamak imkânsız olarak görülüyor. Bu çıkarım çiftçiyi, yem üreticisini ve yem teknolojileri firmalarını aynı oranda ilgilendiriyor. İstatistiklerden yararlana- rak elde ettiğimiz bu bilgi ve teknoloji- nin gelişimiyle beraber artan verimlilik; beklenen talep fazlasını kapatmak için seferber ediliyor. Mayıs-Haziran sayımızın kapak dos- yası, Türkiye ve dünyada saygınlığıyla kendine öncü konumlar edinmiş firma- ların katkılarıyla oluşturuldu. Türkiye’nin önde gelen makine üreticilerinden Yem- mak, bu dosyada yem sektörünün Ko- ronavirüs ve benzeri krizlere ne kadar hazırlıklı olduğunu sorguladığı bir me- tinle yer aldı. Hollandalı Dinnissen Pro- cess Technology ise yem üretiminde vakumlu kaplama ‘devriminin’ incelikle- rini ele aldı. Bu çalışmada tuzu olan bir diğer önemli firma olan Bühler ise flake prosesi hakkında özet niteliğinde bilgi- ler sundu. FEED TECHNOLOGIES
