Poultry reared with Anta®Phyt experience dri- er litter, fewer footpad lesions, reduced instances of diarrho- ea and improved feed conversion. In the case of ruminants, the benefits extend to a decreased susceptibility to subacu- te ruminal acidosis and a reduction in somatic cell count in milk. The antibacterial effect of Anta®Phyt has been demons- trated in standardized in-vitro tests, showcasing its efficacy against common pathogens found in livestock production, including Staphylococci, Streptococci, Campylobacter and Clostridia. And on top, Anta®Phyt has been extensively stu- died and shown to have a positive influence on performance parameters such as daily weight gain, feed conversion and various animal welfare-related indicators. These effects were also seen, for example, in a trial with piglets. The aim here was to achieve a reduction in me- dication (Fig. 1). The results showed that this reduction is indeed possible. With Anta®Phyt, medication costs were significantly lower compared to both the negative control and the positive control (MCFAs and essential oils). Figure 1 illustrates the differences in medication costs (NC: 27 €, layarak tüm hayvan türlerinde belirgindir. Anta®Phyt’in antibak- teriyel etkisi, Staphylococci, Streptococci, Campylobacter ve Clostridia dahil olmak üzere hayvansal üretimde bulunan yaygın patojenlere karşı etkinliğini gösteren standartlaştırıl- mış in-vitro testlerde gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca Anta®Phyt üzerinde kapsamlı çalışmalar yapılmış ve günlük ağırlık artışı, yemden yararlanma ve hayvan refahıyla ilgili çeşitli göstergeler gibi performans parametreleri üzerinde olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bu etkiler, örneğin domuz yavrularıyla yapılan bir dene- mede de görülmüştür. Buradaki amaç ilaç kullanımında bir azalma sağlamaktı (Şekil 1). Sonuçlar bu azalmanın ger- çekten mümkün olduğunu göstermiştir. Anta®Phyt ile ilaç maliyetleri hem negatif kontrole hem de pozitif kontrole (MCFA’lar ve uçucu yağlar) kıyasla önemli ölçüde daha dü- şüktü.
