VIV MEA Proje Yöneticisi Tessa Remers, etkinliği şöyle değerlendirdi: “VIV MEA 2025’te gözlemlediğimiz enerji ve iş birliği gerçekten olağanüstüydü. 500’den fazla katılımcıyı ağırlayıp nitelikli alıcılarla buluşturmanın yanı sıra, bölgenin gıda arzını geleceğe taşımada kritik bir merkez olarak rolü- müzü pekiştirdik. Sektör, ileri teknoloji ve sürdürülebilir uy- gulamaları benimsemekte aktif. Bu edisyonla gurur duyuyor ve elde edilen ivmeyi daha ileriye taşımayı hedefliyoruz.” İNOVASYON VE SEKTÖR GELİŞİMİNE HİZMET EDEN BİR PLATFORM VIV MEA 2025, agri-tech, biyogüvenlik ve işleme ekip- manlarındaki gelişmeleri öne çıkardı. Katılımcılar, çoğunluğu ücretsiz olan 30’dan fazla konferans oturumu ve 130 konuş- macının yer aldığı kapsamlı bir programda buluştu. Sergi alanında önemli girişimler ve özel bölümler de öne çıktı. İlk kez Aquatic Pavilion ile su ürünleri sektörüne genişle- yen etkinlik, bölgenin protein ihtiyaçlarını karşılamaya yönelik sürdürülebilir deniz ürünleri üretimi konulu Aquatic MEA kon- ferans programının ikinci edisyonuna ev sahipliği yaptı. Ayrıca AgriBITs semineri aracılığıyla yapay zekâ, IoT ve akıllı teknoloji odaklı dijital dönüşüm konuları tartışıldı. Cities Leading Food Production Roundtables ve Poultry Marketing Round Table (PMRT) toplantılarıyla yönetişim, teknoloji yenilikleri, su yöneti- mi ve yenileyici tarım gibi kritik konular ele alındı. BAŞARILI BİR SONUÇ VE GELECEK VİZYONU VIV MEA 2025, VIV dünya portföyünde bir başka önemli dönüm noktasını işaret ederek Orta Doğu ve Afrika’da sek- törün dayanıklılığını ve sürekli büyüme taahhüdünü gözler önüne serdi. We are incredibly proud of this edition and look forward to building on this momentum.” A PLATFORM FOR INNOVATION AND INDUSTRY ADVANCEMENT As a hub for cutting-edge developments, VIV MEA 2025 spotlighted advancements in agri-tech, biosecurity, and processing equipment. Attendees engaged in a compre- hensive program featuring over 30 conference sessions with 130 speakers which were mostly free-to-attend. The exhibition floor featured several important initiatives and specialized areas. For the first time, VIV MEA featured a dedicated Aquatic Pavilion, expanding the event into the aquaculture sector with the specialized 2nd edition of the Aquatic MEA conference program addressing sustainable seafood production essential to the region’s protein needs. A key focus was also placed on digital transformation in the agrifood sector through the AgriBITs seminar, featuring sessi- ons on AI, IoT, and smart technology to accelerate the deve- lopment of robust, regional food systems. Furthermore, the Cities Leading Food Production Roundtables brought toget- her international delegates to discuss critical topics spanning governance, technology innovations, water management, and regenerative agriculture; while the Poultry Marketing Ro- und Table (PMRT) tackled intelligent water management in poultry farming. A SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION AND VISION FOR THE FUTURE VIV MEA 2025 marked another significant milestone in the VIV worldwide portfolio, showcasing the industry’s resilience and com- mitment to continuous growth and development in the Middle East and Africa.
