Ensuring the quality and standardization of cereals for the feed industry is also a key priority. This sector-wide structure not only coordinates produc- tion and processing processes but also promotes French cereals internationally, shaping export and logistics strate- gies. Guiragossian emphasizes: “Sustainability and clima- te change lie at the heart of all our strategies. We support research and aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the sector to ensure the long-term success of our producers.” Can you describe Intercéréales’ main mission and how it supports the French cereal sector? Intercéréales is the professional organization of the French Cere- als Industry. It is a non-profit organization funded by the producer’s, traders, cooperatives and elevators company contributions. Our product scope is the cereals throughout the cereals supply chain: from production to first processing, including collection and marketing. Intercéréales regroups 14 associations and 3 congregati- ons (Producers, Traders, Coops etc.). Intercéréales is recognized by the French public authoriti- es since 2003 with the objectives of developing the French cereal sector, for the benefit of all the actors in the Industry. We also support Cereals applied research, innovation and performance by funding the Arvalis R&D Institute. We are also responsible for the promotion and the communica- tion on French Cereals in the World. How does Intercéréales collaborate with the feed in- dustry to ensure quality and consistency of cereals for animal feed? Intercéréales coordinates stakeholders and works closely with French and European public authorities on the issue of the sani- tary quality of cereals produced in Fran- ce and used in France/the EU. Initiates and leads certain pro- jects with the ARVALIS technical insti- tute, from field to laboratory. Conducts upstream research, brin- ging together numerous stakeholders, and provides support to economic operators, ensuring the widest possible dissemination and communication of information. Monitors quality and sanitary issues: crop monitoring, risk management in the supply chain, emerging contami- nants, and anticipation of regulatory changes. Kâr amacı gütmeyen bu yapı; üretici, tüccar, koo- peratif ve lisanslı depoculuk şirketleri- nin katkılarıyla finanse ediliyor. Ürün kapsamımız, üretimden ilk işleme aşamalarına, top- lama ve pazarlamaya kadar tahıl tedarik zincirinin tamamını içeriyor. 14 dernek ve 3 federasyonu (Üreticiler, Tüccarlar, Koope- ratifler vb.) tek çatı altında toplayan Intercéréales, 2003’ten bu yana Fransız kamu otoriteleri tarafından tanınmakta olup tüm sektör paydaşlarının yararına Fransız tahıl zincirinin ge- lişimini amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca Arvalis Ar-Ge Enstitüsü’nü fonlayarak tahıla yö- nelik uygulamalı araştırma, inovasyon ve performansı des- tekliyoruz. Fransız tahıllarının dünya genelindeki tanıtım ve iletişim faaliyetlerinden de sorumluyuz. Intercéréales, yem üretiminde kullanılan tahılların ka- litesini ve standardizasyonunu sağlamak için yem en- düstrisiyle nasıl iş birliği yapıyor? Intercéréales, Fransa’da üretilen ve Fransa/AB’de kulla- nılan tahılların hijyenik kalitesi konusunda paydaşları koor- dine eder ve Fransız ile Avrupa kamu otoriteleriyle yakın çalışır. Arvalis teknik enstitüsü ile saha- dan laboratuvara uzanan bazı proje- leri başlatır ve yürütür. Çok sayıda paydaşı bir araya getirerek yukarı yönlü araştırma- lar yapar; ekonomik operatörleri destekler ve bilgilerin mümkün olan en geniş şekilde yayılmasını sağlar. Kalite ve hijyen konularını izler: ürün izleme, tedarik zincirinde risk yöne- timi, ortaya çıkan kirleticiler ve düzenleyici de- ğişiklikleri öngörme. Son dönemde: tahıl sektörü genelinde bir izleme planı- nın yeniden başlatılması ve uygulanması. Intercéréales, diyalog, istişare ve koordinasyon için bir plat- formdur.
