Pegasus Vacuum Coater, yem üreticilerinin üretim sürecinde bir vakum ortamı oluşturarak peletlere ve ekstrüde edilmiş ürün- lere sıvı katkı maddeleri uygulamalarını sağladı. İlk kez yem üreticileri, enzim, vitamin ve ilaç gibi fonksiyonel katkı maddeleri ekleyerek, ana süreçleri etkilemeden ürünlerinin kalitesini ve özelliklerini büyük ölçüde geliştirebildiler. Vakumlu kaplama teknolojisi kullanılarak, katkı maddeleri tüm pelete homojen ola- rak nüfuz etmiştir. Bu beraberinde daha iyi, daha bes- leyici yem ve gıda, daha sağlıklı hayvanlar ve daha az emisyonla sonucunu getirdi. Hayvan yemi her geçen yıl daha az besleyici hale geldi ve bu nedenle fonksiyonel katkı maddelerinin eklenmesi gittikçe daha önemli hale geldi. The Pegasus Vacuum Coater enabled feed producers to apply liquid additives to and into pellets and extruded products, by creating a vacuum environment within the production process. For the first time, feed producers were able to im- prove the quality and characteristics of their products drastically, without influencing the main processes, by adding functional additives like enzymes, vitamins, and drugs, end of line. By using vacuum coating tech- nology, the additives penetrated homogeneously into the entire pellet. This resulted in better, more nutritious feed and food, healthier animals, and less emissions. Over the years, animal feed became less and less nutritious and therefore the addition of functional ad- ditives became more and more important. ‘Optimizing the recipe’; adding the exact amount of the right ad- ditives at the best possible moment to create an ever better product, became an art on its own.
