Biomin provides this mecha- nism with various biotechnology products it has devel- oped. Probiotics, for example. Biomin is one of the first companies to study on probiotics. And we are one of the first companies to work in this field in Turkey. Biomin has been organizing a yearly activity called "Antibiotic Reduc- tion Days" for the last 3 years to discuss strategies for re- ducing the use of antibiotics. It also takes on a responsi- bility to promote these strategies by inviting feed experts from around the world. How is Biokey's contribution to Biomin? Do you have a facility or laboratory in which conduct your R&D activities in Turkey? Our Biokey, we do not have an independent R&D study or facility in Turkey. As Biokey, we provide the adaptation and integration of Biomin's resources and know-how to the Turkish livestock sector. Biomin has a lot of resources on this. Today when you call Biomin or Biokey, one of the first services that come to mind is mycotoxin analyses. Mycotoxin analyses can be performed by many com- panies through their own means, and they can do this through Elisa tests. However, in terms of reliability, tests with HBLS are much more accurate and can also provide a legal basis. An analysis with HBLS can be used as di- rect evidence when a problem arises. The ERBER Group, to which Biomin is affiliated, embodies also Romer Labs, one of the largest suppliers of mycotoxin analyses and mycotoxin analysis kits and laboratory equipment in the Örneğin probiyotikler. Probiyotikler konusunda çalış- maya başlayan ilk firmalardan bir tanesi Biomin. Biz de Türkiye’de bu konuda çalışan ilk firmalardan bir tanesi- yiz. Biomin yaklaşık 3 senedir her yıl “Antibotic Reduction Days” adıyla antibiyotik kullanımının azaltılmasına yönelik stratejilerin konuşulduğu bir etkinlik düzenliyor. Dünyanın çeşitli bölgelerinden besleme uzmanlarını davet ederek bu stratejilerin yaygınlaştırılması şeklinde bir sorumluluk da üstleniyor. Biokey olarak Biomin’e katkınız nasıl? Türkiye’de Ar- Ge çalışmalarınızı yaptığınız bir tesisiniz ya da labora- tuvarınız var mı? Biokey olarak Türkiye’de müstakil bir Ar-Ge’miz ya da tesisimiz yok. Biokey olarak biz BIOMIN’in kaynak ve bilgi birikiminin Türk hayvancılık sektörüne uyarlanması- nı ve entegrasyonunu sağlıyoruz. Biomin’in bu konuda çok geniş kaynakları var. Piyasada Biomin ya da Biokey dediğinizde akla ilk gelen hizmetlerimizden bir tanesi mi- kotoksin analizleri. Mikotoksin analizleri pek çok firma ta- rafından kendi bünyelerinde yapılabilmesi mümkün, Elisa testleri aracılığıyla bunları yapabiliyorlar. Ama tabi güveni- lirlik açısından HBLS ile yapılmış testler çok daha hassas ve aynı zamanda yasal olarak da bir dayanak teşkil ede- bilir. Bir sıkıntı doğduğunda HBLS ile yapılmış bir analiz doğrudan kanıt olarak kullanılabilir. Biomin’in bağlı olduğu ERBER Group’ta dünyada mikotoksin analizleri ve miko- toksin analizi kitleri, laboratuvar araç gereci sağlayan en büyük firmalardan bir tanesi olan Romer Laboratuvarları yer almakta. Dolayısıyla kardeş firmamız olan Romer La- boratuvarında analiz hizmetleri veriyoruz. Yılda yaklaşık 300’e yakın HBLS analizi yapıyoruz.
